Players have a hand of cards, each representing London Underground stations. Each map shows the colorful metro lines served by this station. Some stations will be intersections of many lines, others will be on a single line. The first player reveals a card and the players in turn play cards that are on a line that corresponds to that of the previous card. If they can`t lay down a card, they draw a card. The winner is the first player to exhaust his hand. There are special cards that use phrases familiar to London Underground passengers that affect the game. For example, “Planned Engineering” allows a player to specify a line that is “closed” and therefore cannot be played until that player`s next turn. However, it`s more fun with more players. Essentially, you are working as a team. Each team starts on its generational space. The goal is that whoever goes around the board wins first! After rolling the dice, teams take quizzes about TV/movies, pop culture, music, titles, and slang/slogans. If the team answers their question correctly, they can move on. If they don`t answer correctly, they have to wait their turn again. Fields marked with an asterisk indicate a challenge card, and they must complete the challenge correctly to progress. Start the game clockwise. Each player must play a card on the discard pile that corresponds to the previous card (either a station card in a colored tube or a special card).

If we include a grandparent, we have four generations between me, my husband and the two older children. Try to be the first player to get rid of his cards. And be prepared to step out of your best acting skills – if you land on a challenge space, you`ll have to act out a famous scene, hum a familiar melody, or dance the hottest dances of all eras.

If you noticed other players before the next card was played, you should pick up a card from the draw pile as a small penalty. Take your grandmother and teenager, because you need teammates from all generations to really manage the board.
